International Shipping Policy B2B

International Shipping & Import Policy — B2B

This policy applies to all wholesale and hospitality orders placed through the Ceferina B2B portal and shipped internationally from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

1. Delivery Terms (Incoterms)

All international B2B orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) or FCA (Free Carrier) terms, as agreed upon at the time of order confirmation. Under these terms:

  • Ceferina assumes responsibility for the goods until they arrive at the agreed destination point (DAP) or are handed to the buyer's nominated carrier (FCA).
  • All import duties, customs tariffs, VAT, local taxes, and customs clearance handling fees at the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • Ceferina is not liable for delays caused by customs inspections, incomplete import documentation provided by the buyer, or regulatory restrictions at destination.

2. Freight Costs

International freight charges are not included in the B2B product price. Shipping costs are calculated and invoiced separately upon completion of production, based on final volumetric weight, number of packages, and destination. The freight invoice will be sent to the buyer prior to dispatch.

3. Carrier

Standard international shipments are dispatched via DHL Express unless an alternative carrier is requested and agreed upon in writing. Ceferina reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier for each shipment based on destination and order volume.

4. Lead Time & Dispatch

Production begins only after full payment is confirmed. Estimated production lead time is communicated at order confirmation and varies depending on order volume and product complexity. Dispatch occurs once production is complete and freight payment is settled.

5. Tracking & Delivery Notification

Once the shipment is collected by the carrier, a tracking number and shipment confirmation will be sent to the buyer's registered email address. Ceferina is not responsible for delays once the shipment is in the carrier's custody.

6. Customs Documentation

Ceferina will prepare and provide all standard export documentation, including commercial invoice and packing list. The buyer is responsible for providing any additional import permits, certifications, or regulatory documents required by their country.

7. Lost or Damaged Shipments

In the event of damage or loss in transit, the buyer must notify Ceferina within 5 business days of delivery. Ceferina will assist in filing a claim with the carrier, but is not liable for compensation beyond the carrier's declared liability limits unless additional insurance has been arranged.
